Hubballi: Officials of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted a raid on the house of Ismail Nalband, a SDPI leader. The sources said that they conducted the raid early in the morning on Saturday. A 10-member team of the NIA stayed in Hubballi, and they conducted searches on the house of Nalband in the Noorani plot in the Kasabapet police station limit.
It is not yet clear why or in connection with which case the NIA sleuths conducted the raid. The local police said that they have no information about the raids. Police Commissioner Labhu Ram said that he was unaware of this development and added that any details he obtains will be shared with the media.
