The family of Naveen Gyanagoudar has decided to donate his body to Davangere Medical College after performing the last rites. Naveen, a student from Chalgeri village in Ranebennur Taluk was killed in Kharkiv city in Ukraine during a shelling incident.
Naveen’s father, Shekharappa Gyanagoudar, made the declaration after learning that his son’s embalmed mortal remains would arrive in Bengaluru on Monday. Naveen was a medical student studying in Kharkiv. CM on Friday announced that Naveen’s mortal remains would reach Bengaluru around 3 am on Monday.
