The price of Nandini milk, which is marketed by the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), is set to rise by Rs 3 per litre beginning Tuesday. The current price of toned milk is Rs 37 per litre, but it will rise to Rs 40 on Tuesday.
KMF made the announcement on Monday. The price increase comes at a time when dairy farmers are dealing with high input costs. The most recent Rs 2 increase was in February 2020. The entire Rs 3 increase, according to KMF, will be passed on to farmers suffering from lumpy skin disease and high input costs.
