MSPL and AISL of Baldota Group sign MoUs to invest Rs 19,600 crore

Bengaluru: MSPL Limited, a flagship company of the Baldota group, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the establishment of a 5 MPTA iron ore beneficiation plant and a 3 MTPA pellet plant at Somalapura village over an extent of 65.36 acres (already acquired land) in Sandur taluk, Bellary district, with an investment of Rs. 1600 crores. The project will get the iron ore from its captive iron ore mining blocks acquired through auction. This project will provide about 1,000 direct and indirect jobs to the locals.

AISL signs MoU to establish a steel plant

M/s. AARESS Iron and Steel Ltd. (AISL) is a subsidiary of MSPL Limited, which belongs to the Baldota Group. Mr. Rahulkumar N Baldota, Jt. Managing Director of  M/s. AARESS Iron and Steel Ltd., has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Karnataka State Government to establish, construct, and operate an integrated steel plant of 3.50 MTPA with an investment of Rs. 18,000 crores at Halavathi village, Koppal taluk. AISL has already acquired 1036.09 acres of land, and the remaining 933.01 acres are under the process of acquisition. It has already received environmental clearance and water drawl sanctions. This project will provide about 10,000 direct and indirect jobs to the locals.

The company’s MD Mr Rahulkumar N Baldota signed the MoU at the Global Investors Meet in Bengaluru in presence of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, and Industries Minister Murugesh R Nirani.
