Vijayapura: A man was found dead in Alakunte Nagar in Vijayapura city on Wednesday night. The deceased has been identified as Mallikarjun Dodamani, 43. According to local sources, the victim’s head and face were brutally smashed using a boulder.
The victim was working as a car driver for Vijayapura MP Ramesh Jigjinagi, and he quit the job some three years ago. The reason for his murder is not yet known. A case has been registered and an investigation is going on said the sources.
