Belagavi, By Hubli Express News: Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament, Iranna Kadadi, held a meeting today with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav in his office. During the meeting, Kadadi advocated for the introduction of a Vande Bharat Express service connecting Belagavi and Pune.
In a social media update shared by Kadadi, he revealed that he also pressed the minister to facilitate the operation of a fast passenger train between Belagavi and Goa. Furthermore, Kadadi proposed the establishment of a railway spare parts manufacturing facility in Kittur and the extension of the existing train service between Mumbai and Gadag up to Ballari.
The diligent efforts of the Rajya Sabha MP bore fruit as the minister positively acknowledged and considered all of Kadadi’s requests during their interaction. Another Rajya Sabha MP, K Narayan, was also present on this significant occasion.
