Raichur: A woman died by suicide after allegedly killing her five-month-old child in Lingasugur, Raichur.
Shruti (30), a resident of Lingasuguru town, is the deceased. Sources said she was shocked when she came to know that her husband Gangadhar, who was working in a fire and emergency department, died in an accident on Sunday, and she took the extreme step after hearing the death news.
The Lingasugur police have registered a case in this regard.
