Yadgiri: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka once again this month. Just two days ago, Modi was in Hubballi to inaugurate the National Youth Festival, and prior to joining the event, the prime minister conducted a roadshow in the city, which got an overwhelming response from the residents.
People stood on the sides of the road, showered petals, and hailed him while raising slogans; thousands of people witnessed the road show. As the city will hold assembly polls in the months of March or April, the state BJP is planning to utilise Modi’s Karizma to attract voters, and as per the initial plan, the PM will visit the state twice a month. Senior BJP leaders told Hubli Express that as the election approaches, he may hold a series of rallies in the state.
The state BJP is riding high on the massive success of the PM’s roadshow in Hubballi, and the Prime Minister will visit Narayanpur village in Hunasagi taluk in Yadagiri district on January 19. On that day, the PM will inaugurate the Rs 1050 crore project for controlling the Narayanpur dam’s 365 gates.
The PM’s programme was originally planned to be held in Yadagiri town, but later the venue was changed.
