Hubballi: Miscreants have taken innocent photos of four college girls and combined them with inappropriate pictures and then posted these edited images on Instagram. The morphed photos have gone viral, said sources.
Police Commissioner, G Santosh Babu, mentioned that the girls who were targeted have reported the incident to the police and case has been registered under relevant sections of the IT Act. These miscreants made fake accounts and edited the girls’ faces onto offensive pictures before sharing them on social media. The girls go to a private college in the city. The police have some leads in the case and are hopeful about solving it soon, said the Police Commissioner.
