Hubballi: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has clarified that Minister V Somanna will not quit the BJP and that he will remain with them, and he has requested that the media not believe hearsay.
Speaking to reporters at his residence here on Monday, the CM said Somanna was with us yesterday, but we did not have any discussion. “I and Somanna are good friends; he is with us and will remain with us,” he said.
Regarding HESCOM and KPTCL workers going on strike, the CM said the Energy Minister has conducted two rounds of meetings with them. The minister would sort out the issue and said he couldn’t share more details on this.
