Hubballi: Mild tremors were felt in Vijayapura district once again on Sunday evening. The villages of Hubanur, Takkalaki, Kalllakavatagi, Ghoshanagi, Somadevarhatti, Malakanadevarhatti, Jalageri, and Ittangihal in Tikota taluk felt mild tremors.
The villagers claimed they heard a loud sound inside the earth following tremors. The officials said that on the Richter scale; the intensity was 2.7. The region, especially, Vijayapura and Kalaburgi districts have been witnessing tremors and geologists also could not explain the reason for this.
