Bengaluru: Senior Congress leader, former minister MB Patil has been appointed as the chairman of the KPCC campaign committee.
Patil’s appointment as chairman of KPCC’s campaign committee was approved by Congress president Gandhi a release from the All India Congress Committee said.
The appointment of Patil as the chairman of the campaign committee gained significance, as Patil is from the strong Lingayat community and Karnataka will go for the polls next year. Patil will be replacing HK Patil who is currently holding the post.
