Hubballi: Mayor Iresh Anchatgeri has extended his support for the ongoing 10K postcards to CM campaign initiated by team Infosys to pressure Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai to take action so that IT giant Infosys can begin operations from its Hubballi unit.

Mayor Anchatgeri himself wrote on a postcard in Kannada requesting that the CM take the necessary measures so that Infosys can begin operations from the Hubballi facility.

Students, teachers, and parents are excited about the campaign. The team collected almost 1,000 postcards in just two days.

According to Sham Nargund, an IT professional and member of the Start Infosys team, the Mayor wrote to the Chief Minister requesting that the Infosys Hubballi unit be operational as soon as possible. The mayor also stated that if the work of the Infosys begins soon, the prospects of local young men and women finding jobs in our city will improve, and the city’s economy will be strengthened, and he wished the Start-Infosys-Hubli team all the best.
