Hubballi: A heart-wrenching incident occurred near the New Bus Stand on Gokul Road as a man lost his life after being crushed by a state transport bus on Saturday night. The victim has been identified as Kuppanna Patadar, a 40-year-old resident of Dyabapur in Surpur taluk, who had arrived in the city to visit relatives.
As per the police report, the unfortunate incident transpired when a state transport bus collided with a motorcycle while attempting to reverse near the bus stand. Tragically, the victim, who was riding pillion on the motorcycle, was trapped beneath the bus’s rear wheel, leading to his untimely demise.
