Pune: On Sunday, a huge collision involving approximately 48 vehicles occurred near Pune’s Navale bridge. According to a Pune Fire Brigade officer, the collision happened on the Pune-Bengaluru highway.
“A major road accident took place near the Navale bridge on the Pune-Bengaluru highway in Pune, causing damage to around 48 vehicles. Rescue crews from the Pune Fire Brigade and the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) have arrived on the scene “According to the official.
According to local media, a tanker’s brakes failed, causing it to collide with many vehicles. The road became slippery due to oil spill during the accident, which apparently happened around 9 p.m., adding more automobiles to the pileup. Exact update on the injured person is not available, the police is expected it to release by midnight.
