Hubballi: Mahesh Tenginkai, the MLA representing the Hubballi-Dharwad Central constituency, asserted, “I have dedicated 30 years of my life to the Bharatiya Janata Party, serving in various capacities before assuming the role of MLA.”
Speaking to reporters after presiding over a meeting with CREDAI officials and sub-registrar officers, Mahesh Tenginkai responded to criticisms from former HDUDA chairman Nagesh Kalaburgi, who accused him of achieving his position through sycophancy towards senior party leaders. Tenginkai dismissed these allegations, suggesting that Kalaburgi’s comments might be politically motivated. He emphasized that his long-standing commitment and service to the party were well-known.
Regarding BJP leader CP Yogeshwar’s statement suggesting a possible alliance with the JD(S) for the upcoming Lok Sabha election, Tenginkai refrained from commenting. He noted that such a decision would ultimately be made by the state and central leadership after thorough deliberation.
