Magadi Road police solves five theft cases

Bengaluru: The Magadi Road police have arrested an accused and recovered around 124 grams of gold ornaments and two kgs of silver articles, a total of worth Rs 7.60 lakh, from him.

Based on the information that someone was selling silver articles, the police arrested a 30-year-old man near Jatka Stand in Gopalpura on Magadi Road. The police rushed to the spot and apprehended the accused and during the investigation, the accused confessed that he was involved in theft cases, said the police.

With the arrest of the accused, the police have solved two theft cases registered at Magadi Road police station, three cases registered at Byadarahalli police station and one case registered at Basaveshwar Nagar police station.

Inspector Srinivas GT led the police team that arrested the accused, according to the police.
