On December 13, a carefully planned breach of Parliament security unfolded, orchestrated by a group of six individuals who coordinated through Instagram and other social media platforms, according to Delhi Police sources.
The suspects, unified by a shared ideology, had formulated the plan days in advance, conducting reconnaissance before entering Parliament on the chosen date.
Their communication spanned over a year on Instagram, with the collective aim of conveying a message to the government.

Security agencies are investigating potential instructions from external sources.

The five arrested individuals are Manoranjan D (Mysuru), Sagar Sharma (Lucknow), Neelam (Haryana’s Jind), Amol Shinde (Maharashtra’s Latur), and Vikram/Vicky Sharma (Gurugram sector-7, native of Hisar). Lalit Jha remains absconding, prompting a manhunt.

Notably, Manoranjan and Sharma, with visitors’ passes for 45 minutes, stayed in the visitors’ gallery for nearly two hours, entering the Lok Sabha Hall from there.

Manoranjan, an engineering student from Karnataka, and Sharma received their passes through the reference of Karnataka’s Mysuru BJP MP, Pratap Simha. Neelam and Shinde, found protesting with flares outside Parliament, were detained by Delhi Police.
