Bengaluru. Jan 22. Though the number of cases is high in the third wave of Covid, the severity is less. Medications are available for treatment, the recovery rate too is high. So we have taken a decision with an intention to avoid inconvenience to the common man and the working class with the objective of ensuring that the lives too are saved and life too goes on, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said.

Referring to hospitalisation of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, he said that the Covid has not spared anyone. “I will speak to his family members and the doctors treating him,” Bommai said.
