Voting for local bodies MLC election began on a sluggish note, Karnataka Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti exercised his franchise at a polling booth located at the central office of Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation on Lamington Road in Hubballi.
For Dharwad local body MLC election BJP has fielded sitting MLC Pradeep Shettar and the Congress party has fielded its working president Saleem Ahmad. The election will be held from 8 am to 4 pm adhering to the COVID-19 norms.
