Lata Mangeshkar, the legendary singer who won many hearts with his singing passed away Sunday at the age of 92. On January, 8, the singer was taken to a private hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 and being diagnosed with pneumonia. She was admitted to an Intensive Care Unit and was on a ventilator, but she was taken off after showing indications of improvement. However, her health deteriorated on February 5, and she died on Sunday.
Lata Mangeshkar had received Bharata Ratna, Padma Vibhushana, Padma Bhushan, Dada Saheb Phalke Award. She is fondly called Nightingale of India.
