Hubbballi: Kusumavati Shivalli, the MLA of Kundagol, paid a visit to the residence of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai in Hubballi.
Although there was some initial confusion over her visit, it subsided once she clarified she had come to discuss developmental work in her constituency. However, she could not meet with the CM during her visit.
Meanwhile, the Congress party has decided to cancel the Praja Dwani Yatre, which was scheduled to take place in Kundagol. This marks the third time that the yatra, which was planned to be held in Kundagol, has been postponed.
According to Siddaramaiah, the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly, the scheduling of the yatra in Kalaghatagi and Kundagol coincided, resulting in the decision to postpone the yatra in Kundagol. Today’s yatra will be held in Kalaghatagi instead.
