Hubballi: Karnataka State Law University students are planning a protest in front of Suvarna Vidhan Soudha in Belagavi, where the Karnataka Legislature’s winter session begins tomorrow.
The students have still to decide whether to take a padayatra from Hubballi to Suvarna Vidhan Soudha or to travel by vehicle. A student, Rudresh, stated that they would organize a protest in front of SVS to draw the government’s attention to them. He stated that a decision would be made on whether to travel by vehicle or via Padayatra to reach SVS.
According to a student, not all students would participate in the Belagavi demonstration, but a handful would travel to Belagavi to stage a protest. The students most likely depart from Hubballi for Belagavi tomorrow morning. The students are protesting the KSLU Vice Chancellor’s decision to hold an offline exam and they must persuade the government to take action in this matter at the earliest. The exam would start on December 15th.
