Hubballi, by Hubli Express News: In a milestone for the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), an extraordinary event unfolded that filled the hearts of all involved with pride and hope. On September 15th, the dedicated staff and compassionate doctors of this institution united in a remarkable act of generosity by hosting a mega blood donation camp. Their collective efforts resulted in an astounding 468 units of life-saving blood being gathered.
This unprecedented blood donation drive, orchestrated with the sole purpose of saving precious lives, was a testament to the remarkable spirit of unity and compassion that defines KIMS. Dr. Ramalingappa Antartani, the Director of KIMS, expressed his gratitude, emphasizing that this was the first-ever mega blood donation camp organized at the institute. Notably, doctors, students, nurses, technicians, group D workers, and security personnel all willingly stepped forward to contribute their vital gift of blood.
On the occassion, Medical Superintendent Dr Arunkumar C, Principal Dr Ishwar Hosmani, HoDs Dr Ishwar Hasabi, Dr Suryakanth Kalluraya, Dr Kasturi Donimath, Dr Ravindra Gadag, Dr GC Patil, Dr Sameer Belvi, Dr Rajashekhar Dyaberi, Dr Manjunath Nekar, Dr KF Kammar, and others were present.
