Hubballi, Karnataka – May 20: Kasabapet Police have successfully cracked a house burglary case with the arrest of the accused, Mussabir Mustaqahemad Gadagkar, 20. Police have recovered 194 grams of stolen gold ornaments, valued at approximately ₹18.43 lakh.
The investigation was launched following a complaint filed on May 16 by Shabbirahemad Khalandarsab Gadagkar, a resident of Gadagkar Layout, reporting the theft of gold ornaments from his residence during his family’s absence.
According to police reports, the accused is a relative of the complainant. Mussabir Mustaqahemad Gadagkar allegedly gained entry into the residence through the back door while the family was away in Hyderabad for several days.
A police team led by Inspector Raghavendra Hallur apprehended the suspect based on credible information. The stolen jewelry has been recovered.
The investigation supervised by ACP Chikkamath, It consists of ASI CS Angadiyavar, staffs IK Dharwad, BF Belagavi, LY Patil, RS Rathod, HR Ramapur, HR Byadgi, Palayya N.
The case remains under further investigation.
