Karnataka’s Covid positivity rate shoots up to 2.59 % with 2,479 new cases reported today, informed Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. K Sudhakar,
He said in Bengaluru alone, 2,053 cases were detected. Amid the surge of cases, especially in Bengaluru, the CM is holding a meeting with TAC to explore options to prevent the spread of the COVID.
The CM is likely to announce tougher rules for the state’s capital and likely to impose curbs based on the positivity rates of the respective districts.
