Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai releases a book on former CM S Nijalingappa

Bengaluru: Following the Maharashtra MPs’ meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi, the Karnataka MPs will meet him in Delhi on Monday (December 12), said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

Speaking to reporters after paying tribute to the late former Chief Minister S Nijalingappa on his birth anniversary, the CM stated that Karnataka MPs will meet with Amit Shah to explain our position.He said he would likely meet him on December 14 or 15, and the Maharashtra CM will be present at that meeting.

Bommai stated that he has already presented Karnataka’s position, explained facts, and other important issues related to the border dispute to Amit Shah, and that he expects the meeting to be fruitful.

Regarding convening all-party leaders’ meeting in Bengaluru on this issue, the CM said that he already spoke to the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah and would speak to him today, as well as to JD(S) senior leader and former CM HD Kumaraswamy as well.
