Karnataka Govt. set up a free helpline for safe homecoming of people stuck in Ukraine.

Bengaluru: The Karnataka government has set up a free helpline to facilitate the safe evacuation and smooth homecoming of Kannadigas stranded in Ukraine. The helpline number is 080-22340676.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai shared the information about the helpline and asked family members to dial the number to get assistance. He also said that his office is in constant touch with the External Affairs Ministry and the Embassy of Ukraine.

He also said that he spoke to External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar and requested him to safely evacuate our students stranded in Ukraine. He reiterated that the situation is being monitored closely and assured of students’ safe evacuation.
