Following the initial leads of Congress in the vote counting, Karnataka’s Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai commented that despite the party’s best efforts, they were unable to secure the required number of votes. Bommai added that once the counting process concludes, the party would carefully analyze the gaps and deficiencies that prevented them from reaching the magic number mark. He assured that the party would regroup, organize, and bounce back in the Lok Sabha election.
