Karnataka Bandh called off

Karnataka Bandh planned for tomorrow ( December 30) has been called off and postponed to another date, said Kannada Chaluvali Vatal Paksha President Vatal Nagaraj after meeting Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai in Bengaluru.

Few Kannada organizations including Vatal Nagaraj had called for Karnataka Bandh on December 31 to condemn the violence of miscreants in Belagavi and defacing the statue of Rayanna by the miscreants and to ban Maharashtra Ekikarna Samiti (MES) in the state. Few Kannada organizations had denied extending support to the Bandh call given by Nagaraj claiming that people are facing tough times due to the Covid pandemic.
