In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, 123 cases of the Zika virus have been reported thus far. There are 96 active cases out of the total.
According to Amit Mohan Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary (Health), a total of 123 cases of the Zika virus have been detected in Kanpur, with 96 of them being active. According to him, three cases have been reported from Lucknow and one from Kannauj.
Many people infected with the Zika virus will have no or only minor symptoms. The most prevalent Zika symptoms are:
Fever, rash, headache, joint discomfort, conjunctivitis (red eyes), and muscle ache.
