Hubballi: The Bharatiya Janata Party is committed to implementing the Kalasa Banduri project, and the union government has approved its detailed project report (DPR). The work would begin in two and a half months, said Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Mines, and Coal, Pralhad Joshi.
Speaking to reporters, Joshi said that one should have doubts about implementing the Kalasa Banduri project by the state BJP government. In the next two and a half months, tenders will be floated, and the work will begin. The BJP government is committed to implementing the project.
It is unfortunate that Congress is playing politics by raising small issues, claiming that the order of government does not have a date, but the official order has a date, and it may be that the Congress people have not seen it. The BJP has fulfilled the long pending demand of the people of the region, and Congress simply can not digest it, he said.
Earlier in the day, the BJP members took out a massive rally to celebrate the union government’s nod for the DPR of the Kalasa Banduri project, and minister Joshi took part in it.
