The Jio 5G service was launched in an additional 50 cities across 17 states and union territories in India. With this, Jio is providing 5G service in 184 cities across the country.
Jio said in a statement that these new cities are in states including Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Goa, Jharkhand, Haryana, Assam, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Punjab. The telecom company is offering a welcome offer to its users to experience 5G speed with unlimited data up to 1 Gbps at no extra cost starting Tuesday.
