The Election Commission has given former minister Janardhana Reddy‘s Kalyan Rajya Pragati Party the symbol of a football for the upcoming assembly elections.
On Monday, Reddy announced the party’s manifesto, which includes several promises such as 250 units of free electricity to each household, free site allocation to SCs and STs, and financial assistance of Rs 2,500 to housewives and women living alone.
The manifesto also includes the construction of houses for civic laborers and Safai Karamcharis, as well as the protection of land under the PTCL Act for SCs and STs. Reddy expressed confidence in winning 30 out of the 224 assembly seats in the upcoming elections. He clarified that he is not in touch with any BJP leader, stating that the phase is over.
