Gangavathi: Former Minister Janardhan Reddy’s house warming ceremony was held in Gangavathi on Wednesday morning.
Reddy’s wife, Aruna Laxmi performed religious rituals in the absence of Reddy who is said to be in Delhi to overview the process of floating his new political party.
Priests came from Ballari performed the rituals like Homa and Havana at the house located in Creative Layout on Karatagi Road in the town. Reddy purchased the house from Vinod Surana by paying Rs 61 lakh, said local sources.
Reddy is in Delhi said his close associates. They also said that Reddy is upset with the BJP for not allowing him to play active role in the party.
The sources also said that Reddy is mulling to float new political party, the process may gain pace after December 18, Reddy is waiting for BJP’s reaction. Reddy is planning to start his political second innings from Gangavathi.
