India launched precision strikes on nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), based on intelligence that these sites were directly aiding terrorist activities against India, according to counter-terror officials.
Terror outfits like Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), and Hizbul Mujahideen have reportedly received structured support from the Pakistan Army and its intelligence wing, ISI. This assistance includes funding, logistics, combat training, and ideological guidance. These groups have been rebranded under names such as The Resistance Front (TRF), People’s Anti-Fascist Front (PAFF), and Kashmir Tigers (KT) to mask their true affiliations and mislead global watchdogs.
The Indian strikes targeted terror training and launch facilities often hidden within or near government premises, such as Basic Health Units and Primary Health Centres. Locations like Sarjal–Tehra Kalan were found to house advanced communication systems used by terrorists.
Further, key ideological and operational support comes from radical hubs like Markaz Taiba in Muridke and Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur, which also serve as bases for extremist leaders. Additionally, Pakistani Special Forces have been conducting guerrilla warfare training at camps in Muzaffarabad and Kotli.
These strikes mark a significant escalation in India’s counter-terror response.
