Jagdish Shettar, the Congress candidate for the Hubballi Central constituency, symbolically filed his nomination today.
He was accompanied by notable Congress figures, including RV Deshpande, MB Patil, and Prasad Abbyya, as he arrived at the Election Returning Officer located at HDMC. Shettar’s wife, Shilpa Shettar, AM Hindasgeri, Mallikarjun Sawakar, and other supporters were also present during the filing.
Shettar submitted two sets of nomination papers symbolically, with plans to submit a third set this afternoon as part of a procession.
