The Congress party has enlisted several prominent figures to serve as star campaigners for the upcoming assembly elections. Former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, who recently joined the party after leaving the BJP, has been named as a Congress candidate for the Hubballi-Dharwad (Central) constituency and has also been given the responsibility of campaigning for the party as a star campaigner.
Shettar’s experience and organizational skills are expected to be a major asset for the Congress party in the region.
