Thiruvananthapuram: In a unanimous decision, the State Legislative Assembly approved a resolution on Wednesday to change the name of the state from “Kerala” to “Keralam.” The Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, introduced the resolution under Rule 118, urging the Central government to promptly initiate the process of renaming the state to “Keralam.”
