Bengaluru: IPS officer, CID DIG R Dileep, passed away this afternoon due to cardiac arrest.
Before being transferred as DIG of the CID, Dileep was the Police Commissioner of the Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissionerate.It is said that Dileep was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru due to a health issue, but he suffered a cardiac arrest during the treatment. He served as SP of Dharwad district, too.
