Hubballi: A police team led by Keshwapur police inspector Jagdish Hanchinal raided two separate gambling dens and arrested nine people involved in gambling on Sunday evening.
The team conducted a raid near Ramesh Bhavan, where the four accused were involved in gambling using cards. The team secured Rs 4,460 and cards from them.
The team apprehended five gamblers who were playing cards and betting on money in an open area near the ZP Road railway bridge in the second incident. The team was able to secure Rs 10,500, which they kept for betting.
