IndiGo Airlines will be suspending its Mangaluru-Hubballi flight services due to poor response from passengers, according to a report by TOI.
The English daily stated that the airline will terminate the flight services from March 12, citing low passenger numbers on the route. The flights were only available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between the two cities.
However, the Hubballi Airport Director has reportedly claimed that he is unaware of the decision. Meanwhile, local newspapers Prajavani and Udayavani have reported that the flight service between Hubballi and Mangaluru is being cancelled due to poor passenger demand. Despite the reports, IndiGo officials have not yet provided a comment on the matter.
The flight service between these two cities started last year May.
