The race for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections is intensifying as both the BJP and the opposition INDIA bloc have scheduled strategy meetings this week.
These meetings are set to occur in Mumbai on August 31 and September 1.
Tomorrow, a gathering of 26 opposition parties forming the INDIA bloc is planned in Mumbai. The purpose of this meeting is to strategize for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
Sanjay Raut, a leader from the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction), had mentioned last week that the meeting might witness the participation of new political parties, particularly from the northeastern region of India.
Among the topics expected to be discussed are the allocation of seats among the coalition partners for the upcoming elections. Additionally, the opposition will deliberate on the key issues they intend to address in the lead-up to the polls, along with the potential establishment of a coordination committee.
Previously, the opposition leaders had convened in Patna, followed by another meeting in Bengaluru.
