Hubballi: Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, MP of Ladakh, welcomed Hubballi students who returned from war-torn Ukraine on Monday evening at Hubballi airport.
The students disembarked from an Indigo flight departing from Mumbai. The MP, who was in Mundgod, arrived in Hubballi to catch a flight to Bengaluru and learned about the Ukrainian returnee students.
He greeted them on behalf of the Narendra Modi government, the district administration, and the state government of Karnataka. He met with the students and inquired as to how they reached at the Ukrainian border and how the Indian authorities evacuated them.
Nazilla Ghazipur, Hubballi’s Bengeri resident, Milan Narasimha Devamane of Dharwad Sarswathpur, Sahana Mallangouda Patil of Bilagi taluk Sunaga village, and Vinayak Nyamgouda of a resident of Belagavi Kagawad taluk Inapur village were among the students who returned from Ukraine.
Shashidhar Madyal, the Urban Tahsildar of Hubballi, and other officials were present.
