Hubballi: The HDMC has named the road in front of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Hubballi branch and the road behind KIMS as IMA Road as a mark of respect to the medical fraternity and to be the country’s largest medical organisation.
Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Mines and Coal Pralhad Joshi, former chief minister Jagadish Shetter, inaugurated the road. Dr. Ramlingappa Antarthani Director, KIMS, Dr.S.B.Lakkol President Elect, IMA KSB, HDMC members Veeranna Savadi, Roopa Shetty, IMA Hubballi branch president Dr S.Y.Mulkipatil, secretary Dr.Manjunath Nekar, treasurer Dr.Madhukar Devadas, vice president Dr SG Baburwad and other members were present.
