Hubballi: From Wednesday (Jan 26), the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Hubballi branch will be starting a free OPD service for patients.
The OPD service will be available from 4 pm to 6 pm Monday to Friday at IMA Hall, Bailappanavar Nagar. IMA Hubballi branch president, Dr. SY Mulkipatil, said that every day, one or two doctors will treat the patients. “We’ve decided to keep this service running until February 28th, or until the COVID third wave subsides,” he said.
The IMA Hubballi branch will be conducting a COVID preventive dose immunization drive for health care workers on Wednesday. On the same occasion, a clothes bank will also be inaugurated. The poor and needy can buy clothes from this bank at no cost, donated by the donors, he said.
