I’m not worried about Annamalai’s fast: Bommai

New Delhi: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai responded angrily to Tamil Nadu state BJP president K Annamalai’s declaration of a fast opposing the Mekedatu project’s implementation.

Bommai stated that he was unconcerned. “I am concerned about the Mekedatu project’s execution. It is not my affair whether he sits fasting or not. We have rights on the water. Our portion has been allocated. On the project, we have already completed a DPR. We begin work as soon as we receive approval. There can be no doubt about that. Regardless of who is fasting, “he stated.
