Hubballi: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai recalled his students’ days while studying engineering at BVB College. The Chief Minister became nostalgic while addressing the students during the inauguration ceremony of the BVB College’s 75th-anniversary celebration here on Saturday.
He said that in his college days, the college canteen was his favourite spot, and he really enjoyed the bonda soup served there. “Now the canteen has changed a lot, and Shettar sir (the VC of KLE Technological University) has brought some stringent rules. “Back then the canteen was different,” he said.
He recalled his college teachers and stated that returning to this college keeps his memories fresh and makes him love it even more.

Chief Minister Bommai was celebrating his birthday today when Bommai came to the dais to address the gathering. The crowd started chanting “Party, Party,” and after listening to it for a while, Bommai assured them that he would give them a treat, and the crowd burst into laughter.
