Hubballi, By Hubli Express News: CM Siddaramaiah has once again clarified his lack of interest in pursuing national politics, in response to recurring questions about whether he intends to follow in the footsteps of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who transitioned from being the Chief Minister of Gujarat to a national political role.
Siddaramaiah firmly stated that he lacks any ambitions akin to Modi’s journey. He emphasized his disinterest in national politics, citing the example of Prime Minister Modi’s trajectory from Gujarat’s Chief Minister to the country’s Prime Minister.
While acknowledging the democratic possibility for anyone to rise in politics, Siddaramaiah insisted that he personally has no inclination towards national politics. He attributed such speculation to the affection and admiration of his fans and supporters.
Agriculture Minister Chaluvarayaswamy, who was present during the press interaction, expressed a contrasting perspective, asserting that if fate has designated Siddaramaiah to become the Prime Minister, nothing can prevent it from happening.
