This incident happened within the Ashok Nagar police station limits. According to the sources, Akshay Kale, a resident of Devangpet, suffered multiple stab injuries on his stomach, chest, hand, and arms. The victim and accused, Riyaz, both 25, were friends and were having drinks at a graveyard in Devangpet when this incident happened. “An argument in an intoxicated condition led to this incident,” said the police.
The victim was rushed to the KIMS, where doctors operated on him, and it is said that he is on the path to recovery. “The accused was arrested,” said the police.
